2014 – Lindsay Makes a Fresh Start in Dubai
After travelling the globe in search of a place to call home, Lindsay and Bader settled in Dubai. A location she would eventually call her “sacred space.” After a while, Lindsay began making friends amongst fellow citizens, including Bader.
It is not known exactly when Lindsey and Bader first met, as the actor has been very protective of her current relationship. But we know they were dating for three years before their November 2021 engagement!
February 2020 – Lindsay Lohan Shares a Pic of Her new Boyfriend at Dubai Music Festival
In February 2020, Lindsay shared a photo of her surrounded by friends (and little sister Aliana), at a Music Festival in Dubai. Bader was also present in the picture and Lohan caused frenzy amongst her fans by captioning the pic “lovely night with my sister and my boyfriend Bader. Such a magical night.” The actor deleted the post not long after.
November 2021 – Lindsay and Bader Announce their Engagement
More than 12 months would pass before Celebrity Romance fans got an update on Lindsay’s romance with Bader. But when Lindsay did share some more info about her romantic life – it was a huge, headline grabbing development!
In November 2021, Lindsay took to social media to announce that she was engaged! The singer and actor took to Instagram to share her joyful message. “My love. My Life. My Family. My Future.” Following the post, Lohan’s rep confirmed the engagement with E! News saying that the star was “engaged and happy.”
February 2022 – The Actress Shares Some Details About Planning Her Wedding.
Within four months Bader and Lindsay were planning their nuptials. In an interview with entertainment show Extra, Lohan revealed that she was looking at destinations and had already began talking about her dress with a designer friend. She also revealed that she was planning to wear several special dresses on her big day.
Despite this Lindsey insisted that she wasn’t the “Bridezilla” type, claiming that “I want to make sure everyone else is good. And then I can be okay.”
Juley 2022 – Lindsay Lohan and Bader Shammas Reveal They Are Married
In keeping with their private relationship, Lindsay and Hader got married in private and didn’t share any details about the date or location of the wedding. But the actor did refer to Bader as her husband on a July 2022 Instagram post. Sharing a couple selfie, the actor added the caption “I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this every day.”
November 2022 – Bader Supports Lindsay at her Comeback Premiere
Lindsay attended the premiere of her first movie in nine years with her husband standing by her side. In November 2022, Lindsay and Bader made their first red carpet debut at the first showing of Lohan’s Netflix hit “Falling for Christmas.”
In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Lohan gushed about her husband. “You never know if you’re going to find that in life and he’s an amazing guy, man. I love him and we’re a great team.”
