The Gossip Girl Star and Deadpool Media Mogul have been married since 2012 and have three daughters Betty, Inez, and James. But how did it all start? Read below to discover the relationship timeline of one of Hollywood’s favourite families!
July 2010 – Blake and Ryan make their first public appearance together – but not as a couple!
Both cast in the ill-fated Green Lantern Project, the two stars sat together at a Comic-Con appearance to promote the movie. But there was no hint of romance at the time – Lively was dating her onscreen Gossip Girl love Penn Badgley and Ryan was married to Scarlett Johansson!
Winter 2010 – Both Blake and Ryan Become Single.
In September Blake and Penn announced the end of their relationship on friendly terms. Three months later Ryan filed for divorce from Scarlett.
Winter 2011 – The pair are confirmed as a couple!
Although the pair attempted to keep their burgeoning relationship on the downlow at the start they were spotted by the paparazzi together in Boston and on holiday in Vancouver. Confirming their status as one of Hollywood’s new “IT” couples.
When the couple first began officially dating remains shrouded in mystery although Ryan has hinted it happened about a year after their previous relationships broke down – on a double date! Ryan had set Blake up with one of his friends and she had done the same for his, although as the dinner progressed it became clear the pair only had eyes for each other!
September 2012 – Wedding Bells!
The celebrity couple managed to pull off a secret wedding ceremony in South Carolina! Florence Welch performed at the wedding reception and fashion-forward Blake wore a stunning Marchesa gown!
October 2014 – Blake and Ryan Announced their Family is Expanding!
After two years of married bliss and gushing about each other in the press, the couple announced that Blake was pregnant in October.
January 2015 – Baby James Enters the World
Multiple media outlets report the birth of a baby girl, James Reynolds. But it would be months before the protective parents would let anyone see an image of the child – in May that year Ryan shared a pic to Instagram, but only of James’s hand!
April 2016 – Ryan and Blake Get Ready to Welcome Baby No. 2
Paparazzi photographs of Blake on the set of her movie The Shallows, confirmed that baby no. 2 was on the way for the couple! In September of the same year baby Inez is born.
December 2016 – The young family makes a rare public appearance.
Both Blake and Ryan are notoriously protective of the privacy of their young family, so the appearance of Blake and their two children at Ryan’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony was a rare chance to glimpse the glamorous pair with their kids!
May 2019 – Blakes Third Pregnancy is Confirmed at a Premiere!
At the premiere of animated feature Detective Pikachu, Blake made one of the most glamorous pregnant confirmations of all time!
October 2019 – Baby Betty enters the world.
And then there were three! The young family were complete. Months later in Variety Ryan would share the rule she and Blake follow to keep their family close – they are never apart! The couple plan their shooting schedules to make sure the family move around as a unit and don’t have to face weeks or months of the separations which proved so fatal to other celeb couplings!
May 2022 – The Red-Carpet Couple Glamour Keeps Coming!
With their marriage now nine years strong Blake and Ryan were announced as co-chairs for the prestigious MET Gala – giving Blake another opportunity to display her fashion queen status! The couple make another style statement and continue to demonstrate their red-carpet legend status!
August 2022 – Blake and Ryan hit Wrexham FC!
Although, according to reports, Blake was initially unhappy with Ryan’s decision to buy Wales football club Wrexham FC – she soon got over it and could be seen cheering on her husband’s new team from the stands!
September 2022 – Baby Number four is on the way!
Blake and Ryan announce that they are expecting baby number four together as released by Glamour Magazine.
