2007 – Dax Shephard and Kristen Bell first meet at a Dinner Party
Kristen Bell first met Dax Shephard at a dinner party hosted by her Forgetting Sarah Marshall producer Sarah Robertson in 2007. At this point Dax had become known for his work on the Ashton Kutcher prank show Punk’d, although Kristen didn’t recognise him
when they met.
It wasn’t necessarily love at first sight for the pair, Bell recalled that her first impression was that Dax could talk – a lot! While Dax was suspicious about how happy Kristen seemed, wondering whether she might be in a cult!
2007 – The Pair Meet Again at a Hockey Game
Just two weeks after their first dinner party encounter, Dax and Kristen met at a hockey game of the Detroit Red Wings and realised they both hailed from Michigan. After the game Dax asked for Kristen’s number from their mutual friend. The pair began to bond over the phone and started dating.
2007 – The Pair Hit Some Speedbumps Early On and Break Up (for 4 days!)
