When a person finds themselves in a strong relationship more often than not it is because they are strong individuals. When you are in a strong relationship you will find that the decisions you make will always have the other person in mind. Being a strong individual in a relationship will allow that person to open up more and be more vulnerable.
Trust in Strong Relationships
For a couple in a strong relationship there is a large amount of trust. They will not go through each other’s phones and will not worry when the other is a little late from the office. If you feel the need to check through messages, scroll through pictures and nose at them through facebook it is a sign you haven’t yet got that trust.
No comparison
When a relationship is strong you will have no need to compare it to any other relationship you may have had in the past. Each relationship you have is different, a strong couple will focus on their current relationship, they will not dwell on past ones.
Independence
When you are in a secure partnership you will not want to live out of each other’s pockets. Both parties will want to have time away from each other to have outside interests such as nights out with friends or workouts at the gym.
Honesty
The relationship is built by something you created together and when the foundations are strong to maintain that strength it involves being completely honest with the other person, even when it is not something they want to hear.
No Judgement
There is no rulebook on how a relationship is meant to work or how a person is to love another. Strong couples will not compare their relationship with anyone else’s. They are secure because they know they are great without having to seek verification.
Explanations
When angry or upset a strong couple will have no fear of speaking up and telling their other half the reason for their mood. They will not fear the others reaction. Not explaining why you are acting the way you are will make a situation worse and will be unfair to the other person. If you do not tell them the reason for your feelings how do you expect them to help you?
They have each other’s back
When a relationship is strong you will always have each other’s back. You will never put each other down and always be there for you no matter what. Honesty, commitment and trust you can be sure to have someone on your side for life.
